Description
| Application | Application example: Dip reagent for the fluorimetric determination of vicinal diols, glycosides and phenols. Solution A: Saturated solution of lead tetraacetate (~2%) (Fluka-No. 15370) in glacial acetic acid Solution B: 2',7'-Dichlorofluorescein in ethanol (0.2-1%) Mix 5 mL solution A with 5 mL solution B and bring to 200 mL with toluene, just prior to using. Solution should be freshly prepared each time. Dipping time: 10 sec. |
| Other usage examples: determination of carbohydrates by fluorescence densitometry after TLC1; determination of H2O2 by chemiluminescence2,3; fluorescent additive used in indirect fluorimetric detection in OTC-HPLC4 |
